Green Infrastructure?
Hi Guys,
After our big question session last Thursday, we wondered if you could give us some ideas on developing better city plannings and improving cities infrastructure.
We think a good way to start is thinking about the impact that city development is causing to all natural life around.
As we concluded, during class, people have been destroying Nature to build new cities. These cities are growing faster and faster as more and more people need a shelter (a home), making city planning more and more challenging to engineers, architects, politicians...
So... we thought...why not building green cities?
But... What is a green city? What do we have to do to make our cities greener? What will be the impact on city planning and infrastructure if we do transform our cities in greener places?
We found two videos that gives us an idea of how to connect green life to city planning. We also found two great sites that spread the idea of building green.
Watch the videos. Explore the sites. Talk to your parents, people in your community and discuss the topic so that you have a better idea of this difficult problem every city in the world is facing!

Ms Taty the vídeo was very cool!I learned that the green infrastructure help our planet like:constructing ecologicical buildings eg:buildings that have gardens in roof, that uses solar energy with many different ways of clean energy, reuse the water. If we help our planet will be clean.One exemple of a gree city in Brazil is Curitiba. Curitiba has the fewest emission of CO2 in the world and a lot trees and plants.
ResponderExcluirMs.Taty I learned that we need to make the planet more and more green or the people going to build more and more building.The planet need to be more green but if not be green the animals going to die,the people goig to cut the trees and the rivers going to be poluted, it´s why that we need to make the planet more green.The planet can be green planting plants,makin more trees and making the rivers cleaned.The planet can be green poting signs to the people see that can´t polute this area.
ResponderExcluirMs Taty e Ms Janaína, eu entendi que Green infrastructure é cuidar melhor do planeta usar meios de transporte tipo metro e bicicleta que não poluem o planeta plantar mais e usar outras formas de fazer energia como cataventos e objetos elétricos movidos á luz do sol cuidar mais da água porque quando a água cai no solo da Terra ela pode se tornar em plantas animais e água que podemos beber mas se ela cai nas estadas ela sai toda poluída e se torna água que não podemos beber por isso é importante construir parques que tem muitas plantas e animais para ter sempre plantas novos animais e bastante água!!!!!!!!!;)

Ms Taty, I learned that we need to protect nature. We can do many things, for exemple: produce and use renewable energy, reduce de use of car (gas), build sustentable houses ( reduce energy consumption).

I learned that all the parks that have in Earth can be used like sponges because they get the water from the rain and give to the ground so the cities aren't poluted, because if the water is poluted we we'll be sick.

Evitando derrubar árvores e deixando o solo o mais permeável possível.Para que a água quando chover ela abasteça os rios e os lençóis freáticos.Tambem evitando assim enchentes.
Construindo parques verdes e jardins no entorno das construções e coberta dos edifícios e casas.Fazer com o que a construção seja mais eficiente possível ou seja que use menos energia e água possível através de placas solares, sistema de reciclagem de água para que possamos reutiliza-la.
Como também procurar usar mais meios de transporte ecologicamente correto . Ou seja que não poluam o meio ambiente
Eu aprendi que green infrastructure é cuidar melhor do nosso planeta, tentando melhorar as atitudes das pessoas.

Mais temos que fazer tudo correto, pois senão ao invés de salvar o meio ambiente, nós iremos poluir cada vez mais,
I learn that I can only do a better planet if I don't cut many trees and plant food. We need more areas of park with trees and grass or we can only see the park of jaqueira and try to copy it. with more parks we can have more nature, good air and water.

Green infrastructure é uma infraestrutura com responsabilidade ambiental. É planejar e construir de forma sustentável, fazendo a população mudar suas atitudes para cuidar do planeta.
ResponderExcluirinfraestrutura é quando nós construimos algo que não faça mal ao nosso planeta e tambem, por esemplo nós temos que começar a deixar as arias verdes creçerem mais e do mesmo jeito não matar as plantas,árvores e gramas , e construir moradias.

ResponderExcluirEu entendi que não se jogar lixo em qualquer lugar da cidade para não sujar os rios e os mares. Aprendi que é importante que as cidades tenham muitos parques, paraque a água da chuva possa entrar na terra, alimentar as árvores e assim as cidades ficam mais verdes, com menos poluição.

ResponderExcluirOs seres humanos não podem pensar no desenvolvimento sem levar em conta as green infrastructures. Devemos ter como objetivos desenvolver de forma sustentavel, priorizando a geração de energia e meios de trasporte que não poluam.

Clean the rivers and the nature too if every one help our planet will be nice because sea animals is die because of the trash in river also in the nature .
