Dear Year 3 Friends,

Our Saint Patrick's week had many moments: long talks, group singing, videos, crafts, math games and much more!

The Saint Patrick's Friday was full of joy and laughter.
Kids were amazed by the spirit of Saint Patrick's when they finally got to experience the POT OF GOLD scavenger hunt!!!

Valentina, from Y3A, was the luckiest student who found the pot of gold this time. Hurray!

Thanks to all our students for showing happiness and love. We really tried our best to make this day special to all of you. This day will be forever in our hearts and minds!

Wall Painting

Arts Class

A partir da temática do "How we organize ourselves - estruturas prédios e cidades", estamos trabalhando em Artes o artista plástico Gaudí e a sua construção da "Casa Batlló" na cidade de Barcelona.

Como vimos em sala, o artista construiu a casa toda baseada na natureza, animais e plantas, usando muitos azulejos e mosaicos.

Inspirados nessa temática os alunos do Year III produziram as suas casas e em seguida uma coletiva. Essa última, foi pintada na parede de azulejo do parque no dia 08/08/16 e apresentamos para vocês o belíssimo resultado, que envolveu criatividade e colaboração entre os alunos do Year III.

Ms Fabiana (Art's Teacher) has asked us to collect some recycling  material at home.

Solicitamos que cada estudante traga os seguintes itens para elaboração dos próximos trabalhos de artes:

* uma tampa de caixa de sapato

* uma caixa de papelão

*CDs que não servem mais para uso

* bandejinha de isopor

* 1 caixa de leite VAZIA

Camilla Cream...

(March in Review - post 2)

Camilla Cream helped us observe the way people feel. 

She helped kids understand the importance of listening to self. Children understood and expressed their feelings in many ways, making sure they considered their own opinions and not those of others.
