Dear Friends,

Year 3  celebrated Thanksgiving last Thursday (11/24/2016).

It was finally time to give thanks to all good things we shared during the year. It was time to celebrate friendship, love and appreciation for our lives.

The celebration had many parts.

At first, students had time to practice their English, and Portuguese, while hunting for words in a crossword puzzle, and finding nouns and adjectives in sentences.
Then, they had time to practice writing when, in pairs, they created the most beautiful Thanksgiving acrostic poems.
Soon it was time to decorate our hall display. Students worked individually to fill the class display with colorful leaves of thanks and care.
Almost at the end of the day, music played its part in the celebration, when we all happily danced to the tune of the 'turkey dance'!

Finally...

It was time to say thanks and share our hopes with our friends. We all had a chance to say: " I'm thankful for..." / "Eu agradeço por...".
Just like magic, our hearts and minds were filled by the children's reflections before snack time.

Of course, our families and friends were present, as they helped us have the most wonderful morning snack. Every home sent us their love in the food they shared with us.

Thanksgiving spirit came in and it was finally time to eat!

We hope you all enjoyed our wonderful gathering on Thanksgiving day as much as we did!

Love,
Ms Janaina and Ms Tatiana

BODY STRUCTURES

Olá Year 3,

"Durante a unidade "How we organize ourselves" o Year 3

Seguem as fotos.

Aproveitem!
Abraços,
Ms Bárbara Ventura
